Hysan hammer mills are used to reduce the size of the scrap by continuous impacts from rotating hammer. It converts light metal scrap into high density balls depending upon the size of the sieve through which the scrap comes out after getting beaten by hammers at a very fast speed. Hammer mills not only reduces the size but also removes the impurities such as paint , dust or any other impurity present with it so when fed into the furnace , less slag and air pollution is created.
